FAQs

What services do you offer?

1

We offer a range of vocational education and skill development for Veterans and First Responders to work with, learn from, and help K9s thrive in our human world.

We also work to provide resources for guardians who want to learn about, better understand, and help their companion dogs thrive in the human world.

How do I get started?

2

To participate in our Academy, you must be a First Responder, active or retired, or a Veteran. We require validation of service; a letter from your agency where you served as a First responder or your DD-214 from your military branch are appropriate documents to begin this odyssey. The program application and process is covered under the “application process” tab.

If you are looking for resources or support for you and your pup, please go to the “resource” tab and browse our available tools.

What makes you different?

3

We are here to serve those who have served our Nation. Our mission is to uplift, equip, and support our heroes through education and skill development about dogs. We do not charge for our programming and strive to give new purpose to those seeking it, with compassion and understanding.

How can I contact you?

4

You can reach us anytime via our contact page, email amie@heroesk9odysseyacademy.org , or call/text 320-426-9889. We aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day.
